Puit.is is being built by a small European team with deep experience across enterprise infrastructure delivery, visual computing, benchmark engineering, and institutional project experience. The goal is practical: make provenance credible, usable, and resilient beyond one closed ecosystem.
Why we started
Synthetic media changed the economics of trust. Once convincing manipulation becomes cheap and scalable, origin matters more, not less. We chose a prevention-first, truth-neutral response: strengthen provenance at the source so it can still be checked later.
What makes puit.is different
Puit.is is built as infrastructure, not just as a feature. It focuses on authorship, continuity, and independent verification in the workflows where metadata detaches, hashes break, and closed systems stop being enough.
What we are building toward
We are building toward a provenance layer that can serve creators, institutions, and public-interest workflows without locking verification into one vendor or platform. The aim is simple: make digital origin harder to lose, harder to fake, and easier to check over time.
